How It Works

When you click "RUN PREDICTION":

1. GoldViper fetches the last 50 candles of live XAU/USD data

2. Calculates all technical indicators (SMA, EMA, RSI, MACD, ATR, Bollinger Bands)

3. Sends to ChatGPT: "Analyze this data. Predict if XAU/USD will go UP or DOWN in the next 15 minutes. Why? What's your confidence? Suggest TP and SL."

4. ChatGPT analyzes the patterns and returns:

   • Direction (UP/DOWN)

   • Confidence (0-100%)

   • Reasoning (detailed explanation)

   • Suggested TP and SL levels

5. GoldViper displays the result in a clear format

2. Open your apps/api/.env file and replace the placeholder:

• OPENAI_API_KEY=sk-placeholder-key

3. Save and restart your app

• apps/api/.env now holds OPENAI_API_KEY=sk-placeholder-key + OPENAI_MODEL; the backend auto-switches to OpenAI once a real sk- key replaces the placeholder, with explicit 401/403 key errors. Keys stay server-side only.
